Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. invites you to attend an in-person hiring event at SEA-TAC area. We’re seeking security officers to join our team, with competitive hourly wages and opportunities for career growth. Come prepared with a resume and business casual attire; training and advancement paths are provided.

The role includes patrolling, monitoring entrances, handling incidents with composure, and reporting hazards. Must be 18+, HS diploma or GED, and able to pass screening.

• Standard computer / technology skills needed.

Time: Wednesday, August 19th, from 10:00am-2:00pm

Wage: $21.75-$26.00/Hour

What Your Day May Look Like

• Maintain composure during urgent or high-pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Secure entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
