Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time X Ray Image Analysis in Lexington, KY. This role offers reliable hours at an assigned site with opportunities to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $19.00 per hour. Fixed shifts and a program to claim additional shifts allow for income stability and potential full-time progression within the industry leader.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required.
• Drug screening required.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and vendors according to security procedures.
• Screen individuals entering campus locations per access-control procedures.
• Operate screening equipment and inspect items, report prohibited items or suspicious activity.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time X Ray Image Analysis in Lexington, KY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals entering designated campus locations in accordance with established access‑control procedures and site requirements.
• Operate screening equipment and inspect permitted items as directed, reporting prohibited items, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established campus protocols and contacting emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and surrounding perimeters; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
