Job Summary:

As a critical member of the Safety & Security team, you will provide a safe and enjoyable work environment by monitoring and patrolling our modern stations, engaging in professional security practices, and enforcing procedures to control access. Reporting to a Security Manager, you will have high guest interaction and use sophisticated technology to screen travelers and their belongings. Essential Functions:

1. Enforce all policies and procedures set by management.
2. Conduct safety and security patrols on foot in all assigned areas.
3. Observe for suspicious behavior or unusual situations that may pose security or safety concerns.
4. Sound alarms or call police/fire services as needed.
5. Perform checkpoint screening of all guests and luggage using x-ray machines and wands professionally and courteously.
6. Maintain knowledge of screening equipment and current certifications to operate them.
7. Handle and resolve guest inquiries and complaints in coordination with other Brightline entities; respond to questions from guests and outside agencies.
8. Maintain logs and prepare reports, including investigative documents.
9. Respond cordially to assistance requests.
10. Stay alert and vigilant in a busy environment to control access according to Brightline’s security policies.
11. Monitor CCTV and intrusion/fire alarm systems.

Qualifications:

12. Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
