Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer with Active Clearance in Salt Lake City, UT. You will greet visitors at the front desk, monitor access, and respond to incidents within an aerospace/defense environment.

Responsibilities include verifying credentials, managing visitor logs, answering calls, and maintaining security-related records. Must have DoD Secret Clearance, minimum 1 year in security, HS diploma, background check, and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal/state/local laws.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Answer incoming calls, manage communications, and provide clear directions or information to authorized personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate records of access activity, incidents, and other security-related front-desk communications while helping to deter unauthorized entry.

As a Security Officer with Active Clearance in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. You will help maintain an orderly environment, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service with integrity. Pay Rate: $21.69 / Hour

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
