Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter, reporting issues.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and report unauthorized access or violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders.
• Complete accurate logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation per site requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas in accordance with site procedures and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
