Job Description

Allied Universal is now hiring in Philadelphia, PA, specifically in the 1900 Block of Chestnut Street. We are seeking full-time security officers for multiple shifts, with a pay rate of $16.25 per hour. Excellent career advancement opportunities are available! Paid orientation, medical, dental, vision, and 401k are provided for full-time employees. Candidates must be 21 years of age or older, able to work outside in various weather conditions, and able to stand and walk for extended periods.

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients across various industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, and Government.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by executing safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments that vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Subject to background checks and drug screening as per legal requirements.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
