Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Boise, Idaho is seeking a full-time Security Officer to protect client assets and people. You will monitor entrances, perform patrols, and assist customers while delivering reliable security services.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a valid driver's license and a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent). Training is provided, with weekly pay and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Strong customer service background preferred.
• Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV systems and perform access control at security entrances/exits.
• Conduct patrols inside/outside client premises in varying conditions.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team to meet site goals.
• Carry out tasks of similar nature as required for the site.

Available Schedule

• Friday - Tuesday 12am-8am
• Sunday - Thursday 3pm-11pm
• Wednesday - Thursday 12am-8am, Saturday - Sunday 5pm-5am

• Monitor CCTV systems and perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
