You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points and alarms, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.05 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare facility, office areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, maintain visitor logs, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoffs while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
