Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Lexington, KY. You will provide a visible security presence, perform routine unarmed patrols, and assist with access control while delivering excellent customer service. • Monitor access points and visitor activity, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and follow escalation procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts and responding personnel.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Lexington, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors, report security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology-focused facilities, offices, common areas, parking areas, loading locations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and responding personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
