Job Description

As a Security Officer - CRE Patrol in South San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting tenants and visitors, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This post requires a valid driver's license, as driving may be part of your duties. Pay Rate: $23.95 / Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity or security-related incidents.
  • Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and unwanted activity by maintaining a visible presence.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents or concerns according to site protocols.
  • Communicate with property management and other personnel as required to address concerns or incidents.
  • Remain alert to changes in the environment and adapt to varying working conditions at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy requirements.
  • Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • California Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
