Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer in Cranbury, NJ to patrol the client site, deter threats, and provide professional service to employees and guests.

The role requires vigilence, ability to conduct patrols, and strong attention to detail. Candidates should have NJ SORA license or be able to obtain one, a HS diploma or GED, and reliable driving history; training is provided and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Previous security experience highly preferred.
• Active NJ SORA license or the ability to obtain one
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate when needed.
• Secure entrances and patrol inside/outside client premises.
• Interact with client employees and guests regularly.
• Identify and report safety hazards or conditions.
• Report suspicious activity promptly and clearly.
• Provide detailed written witness reports.
• Conduct mobile or on-foot patrols.
