Job Schedule:

• Sat: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, vehicle, and incident information in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain required firearms qualifications and follow all applicable laws, company policies, and site-specific requirements while performing armed duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
