Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Weekend Anchor Flex in West Chester, OH. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts to earn more, at a rate of $17.51 per hour.

You will provide customer service to tenants and visitors, perform security patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining professionalism on site. This position includes flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow into full‑time roles.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the property, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
