Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer for weekends in West Chester, OH. You will patrol, monitor, and protect clients across commercial real estate sites while providing excellent customer service.

This role offers a flexible weekend schedule, weekly pay, and an opportunity to grow within a leading security company. A background check and drug screen are required where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Criminal history considered in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and document observations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, common spaces, entry points, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general information, report suspicious conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Complete activity and incident reports and shift communications professionally.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, common spaces, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general information, and report suspicious conditions or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence for Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
