Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time CPR Response Patrol in Louisville, KY. You will perform routine unarmed patrols, observe and report activity, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires at least 2 years of security experience, a high school diploma, and compliance with background and drug screening. CPR/First Aid is preferred, with age 18+ for unarmed roles. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, access‑control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; report unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain required logs and incident documentation.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through a visible presence while maintaining professionalism and compliance with applicable site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
