Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a retail distribution location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and access points to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain logs of arrivals, departures, and deliveries.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Document observations and incidents in clear, timely reports and communicate information to leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control and badge processes, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a retail distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate logs of arrivals, departures, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and unusual activity in clear, timely reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
