Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• A drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, trailer yards, parking areas, dock doors, and perimeter points.
• Monitor access control points by observing and reporting visitor, driver, and employee traffic and verifying authorization.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations and communicate information during shift handoffs.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, trailer yards, parking areas, dock doors, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points by observing and reporting visitor, driver, and employee traffic, verifying authorization when required by post orders, and documenting entries and/or exits.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff to support continuity of security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
