This role offers fixed shifts with additional optional pickups via our scheduling platform to earn more, while maintaining reliability and a path toward full-time hours.

The position emphasizes customer service at a retail distribution site, unarmed patrols, access control, incident response, and thorough reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel at a retail distribution location, following security procedures and, when appropriate, emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, property damage, or policy violations with detailed daily records.

As a Security Officer Warehouse in Mead, CO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel at a retail distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, property damage, or policy violations while maintaining accurate daily activity and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
