Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) in Wyncote, PA. You will perform routine patrols, provide customer service to shoppers and staff, and deter security incidents while maintaining a visible presence.

The role requires 18+ with clean background, HS diploma, and compliance with drug testing and licensing rules. You will work a set afternoon/evening schedule at a retail site.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Service in Wyncote, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon - 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri - 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat - 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun - 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and/or access concerns, and report observations to site leadership and appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
