Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with access-control requirements; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate check-in processes.
• Monitor entry points and visitor activity, maintain logs and records, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and with problem-solving; follow site-specific emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated entry areas, spaces, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.14 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with access‑control requirements; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate check‑in processes.
• Monitor entry points and visitor activity, maintain accurate logs and records, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; follow site‑specific emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated entry areas, business spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
