Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Visitor Credential Verification in Zanesville, OH. You will safeguard clients by managing entry points, verifying access, and issuing visitor badges while maintaining professional communication with visitors and team members.

This full-time, daytime role requires a valid driver’s license and adherence to site-specific policies, incident reporting, and safety procedures. You will perform patrols and assist with emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for access-control concerns and reporting unusual conditions.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, access-control documentation, and incident reports in accordance with site-specific requirements.
