Allied Universal in Vacaville, CA seeks a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver to protect facilities and people across chemical/petrochemical sites. This unarmed role requires a valid driver's license and involves patrolling, monitoring access, and delivering customer service with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of chemical and petrochemical facility buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts according to location procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, patrol activities, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly in required reports.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
