As an unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol assigned areas at a commercial property, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This driving position offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and teamwork.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.67 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and observe activity at the location, reporting security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete accurate activity reports and maintain professional communication with clients, visitors, and team members.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
