Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while communicating relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
