As a **Security Officer - Unarmed Patrols** in **Purchase, NY** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for staff and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will represent our agile, reliable, and innovative team, always acting with integrity and putting people first through teamwork and a caring approach.

**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Mon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Thur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents within the location.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and addressing any concerns according to site protocols.

+ Support emergency response activities, including guiding individuals during evacuations or other urgent situations as directed by site procedures.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ NY State Security Guard Registration (Guard Card) is preferred.

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
