Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrols in Purchase, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients across various industries, including Food/Beverage. Your duties include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, deterring incidents, and ensuring a secure environment for staff and visitors. Responsibilities involve conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, providing excellent customer service, and representing our reliable and innovative team with integrity and care.

Position Details

• Type: Part Time
• Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour
• Schedule: Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Thu 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security procedures and responding to emergencies.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations.
• Conduct patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify issues.
• Observe and report unusual activity or incidents.
• Assist with access control and verify credentials.
• Support emergency responses, including evacuations.

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
• Comfortable with using a computer or tablet.
• Preferred: NY State Security Guard Registration (Guard Card) and other licenses.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Minimum 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of experience.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving roles.
