Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrols in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with others and upholding the highest standards of integrity and reliability. Your role is essential in supporting a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all employees and visitors.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $14.68 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage production facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions within the location, following established protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including guiding individuals to designated areas and communicating with site management or emergency personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
