Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Threat Detection) in Lawrenceville, GA. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide courteous communication to patients, visitors, and staff at a healthcare location.

The role offers flexible scheduling with shifts and opportunities to advance through our Claim a Shift platform, with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour and a focus on service, integrity, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and tenants at a healthcare office location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with location procedures, providing directions and assistance as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and unusual observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:
