Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Threat Detection in Jeffersonville, IN. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to clients, employees, and visitors.

This full-time role requires you to respond calmly to incidents, verify access, and report concerns following site procedures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM; Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM; Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM; Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM; Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.


• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.


• Report maintenance concerns, access-control issues, and other security-related conditions according to established site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
