Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Camden, AR. You will provide customer service, patrol facilities, and enforce site policies while building a presence that deters security issues.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report unusual activity, access issues, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and documenting actions taken.
• Complete detailed activity reports, maintain accurate logs, and communicate observations and security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
