Job summary

Allied Universal in West Chester, OH is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Experienced to safeguard patients, visitors, and staff at a healthcare location. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while upholding site policies.

The role requires at least 2 years of security-related experience, a high school diploma, and compliance with background checks. This is a full-time, daytime shift with a pay rate of $18.70 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding property to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with facility policies and applicable privacy requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
