Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused corporate location.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of offices, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeters to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report unusual conditions to site staff.

• Prepare clear patrol and incident reports and share with leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in Mountain View, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm systems, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and support a professional environment. Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, lobbies, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and documenting observations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related activities; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
