Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - Morning Shift in Maxton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. Your presence and professionalism contribute to a positive atmosphere for employees and visitors alike.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity within the food and beverage production environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of activity throughout the location.
• Document and report any unusual observations or incidents according to site protocols.
• Assist employees and visitors with directions and information as needed, maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
