Allied Universal in Etna, OH is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inciden t Recognition to protect clients across industries. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, and deliveries.

As a full-time role, the position offers a day-time schedule with a pay rate of $20.55 per hour. You will respond to security concerns, document patrols, and coordinate with site leadership as needed.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation to comply with laws.
• Background history considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and security-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Incident Recognition in Etna, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location and report unauthorized activity, suspicious behavior, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
