Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Driver) in Pleasanton, CA. You will protect clients in healthcare settings, patrol assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

Fri/Sat/Sun night shifts are part of the schedule. You will provide customer service, follow site procedures, and report incidents clearly.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a background check.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Licensing and drug screening may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and report findings to supervisors.
• Conduct unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and assist visitors with directions and inquiries.
• Prepare clear incident and patrol reports and communicate concerns promptly.

You will respond to concerns, provide clear communication and exceptional customer service, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $27.55 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned areas, including buildings, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and access-related inquiries as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and promptly notify supervisors of security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
