Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Orovada, NV. You will provide excellent customer service, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, and deter security incidents.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, reporting security concerns, and responding calmly to emergencies. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required, with background checks and drug screening as applicable.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Orovada, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Driving Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials as directed, and documenting visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and communicate observed maintenance, operational, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
