Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Yuba City, CA. You will patrol retail spaces, deter incidents, and provide customer service while driving a designated route. A valid driver’s license is required, with opportunities to schedule shifts via our Claim a Shift platform.

This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or shoppers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns.


• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.


• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting security-related incidents, hazards, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.


• Maintain a professional presence to help deter unauthorized activity and support a welcoming environment for visitors and occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
