Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Relations in Tacoma, WA to safeguard clients across government sites, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service. You will patrol, monitor access, and document observations while maintaining clear communication with staff and visitors.

Position is full-time with a pay rate of $22.95 per hour. Applicants will undergo background checks and a drug screen as required by law.

Competenze

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, public access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.

• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Tue 07:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Wed 07:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Thur 07:00 AM - 04:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
