Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol CPR Support in Menlo Park, CA. This part-time position focuses on protecting clients in financial institutions, delivering courteous service, and maintaining a visible security presence.

You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and document incidents while reporting to site leadership. CPR/First Aid and a guard card are preferred, with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Have at least six months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business operations areas, entrances, parking locations, and the perimeter, while reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

What You’ll Do:
