Allied Universal is a leading security and facility services company seeking a full-time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Las Vegas, NV. You will perform routine patrols, control access, and provide professional customer service to government clients.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in line with federal, state, and local laws.
• Qualified applications with criminal histories considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Response in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to visitors and staff. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify authorized access and assist with visitor direction, sign-in processes, and compliance with site requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities while maintaining a professional presence and respectful interactions with the public.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
