Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Seattle, WA. You will patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide exceptional guest and staff service at a hotel or resort location.

Position emphasizes flexible schedules, shift claims via the platform, and adherence to site-specific procedures. Minimum requirements include 1 year of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, visitors, and team members while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, entrances, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following site protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual conditions and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other documentation per Allied Universal procedures.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.37 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests, visitors, and/or team members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a hotel or resort location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, entrances, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
