Allied Universal in Rancho Cucamonga, CA is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol to serve a government human services location. You will conduct patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while communicating professionally with staff and visitors.

The role offers full-time DayTime shifts with a pay rate of $21.49 per hour. You will work with a caring, agile team and rely on strong teamwork and integrity to deliver quality security services.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government human services location by following site procedures and security protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, follow entry procedures, and direct individuals to service areas as needed.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders per site procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation; communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government human services location by carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, follow established entry procedures, and direct individuals to appropriate service areas when needed.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders according to site procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to site‑contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
