Allied Universal in Lawnside, NJ is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol First Aid Preparedness to protect facilities and people at a logistics site. You will patrol, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professional customer service.

The role is full-time with daytime schedule and on-site training. CPR/First Aid is preferred, and applicants must be at least 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong customer service and access control experience are preferred.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol First Aid Preparedness in Lawnside, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication and customer service while reporting observations and responding to site needs. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking lots, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, vendor, and driver credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Observe and report irregular conditions, damaged property, or suspicious activity while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
