Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Jackson, MO to safeguard clients across distribution facilities. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide professional customer service while following post orders and site policies.

Ideal candidates are at least 18, have a high school diploma, and can pass background checks and a drug screen. A valid driver’s license is required for driving posts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background screening required under applicable laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution location, including perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and access points.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor/driver entry requirements, and report unauthorized activity or irregular conditions to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and security observations in accordance with site policies.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.

• Document patrol activity, incidents, and security-related observations in accordance with site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
