Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an unarmed Security Officer in Gainesville, FL, for part-time shifts. You will patrol a retail location, provide customer service, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, monitoring access points, and documenting observations. Requires 1+ year security experience, HS diploma, background check, and drug screening per policy.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Monitor access points, entrances, exits, and restricted areas in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as required.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:
