Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Dunkirk, NY. You will monitor and patrol manufacturing and industrial locations, maintain a visible presence, assist employees and visitors, and provide excellent customer service while upholding the company values.

The role offers flexible part-time hours with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour, and opportunities to learn via our Shift-claim platform. Background checks and basic licensing may apply where required by law.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial areas, including building interiors, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
