Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Castle Hayne, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout the location. Your presence and exceptional customer service will contribute to a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the campus using a vehicle. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Sat	02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to individuals at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and visitor management as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Support the enforcement of location policies and procedures to help maintain a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license in the job state is required for driving positions.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
