Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Boston, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, managing access control, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with others and upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. This post does not require driving or carrying a weapon.

Pay Rate: $18.13 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior or activity.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control and visitor management as required by site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with AU driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
