Allied Universal in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol Service. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible security presence, and help residents and visitors with professional customer service.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly residential environment.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events according to site policy.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and property representatives.
