Job summary

Allied Universal in Vacaville, CA is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol to protect clients across industries. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible security presence, and respond to incidents while complying with site policies.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and maintaining required entry and visitor records.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol in Vacaville, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming, secure environment. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, agility, innovation, and teamwork.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
